Yesterday Haidi & Inge P. made a routine visit to the children’s ward in Dharmais. We met with five year old Shirley and her mother from Jakarta. Shirley has been receiving chemo and radiation recently. Doing well, she allowed us to take a photo .

We also met our little friend Wahyu,who hasn’t been feeling too well. He will start his 8th cycle of chemo tonight if he’s up to it. Stay strong Wahyu! Then we met 1.5 year old Navira and her mother from Surabaya. Navira has recently been operated on her eye as she’s been suffering from retinoblastoma. She’s an outpatient now but back in the hospital today to get another cycle of chemotherapy.

Last but not least we had a chat with a cheerful Noval. This brave 12-year old boy was doing his schoolwork while getting chemotherapy to treat his leukemia. Mary’s Cancer Kiddies wishes them all well!
